We are a family owned and operated full-service jewelry store with the mission to serve our customers as we would want to be served.
Sherry Yarnal started in the jewelry industry in 1985. She earned her Graduate Gemologist Degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and obtained Certified Master Appraiser status from the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA). We offer on-site jewelry repair with our team consisting of a Master Goldsmith and a bench jeweler trained by Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts.

Our Team
Sherry Yarnal
Owner/appraiser/sales
Sherry is dedicated to upholding the professional standards, ethics and education in the field of jewelry and jewelry appraisal providing knowledge and personalized service for her clients. Sherry began her career in the jewelry industry in 1985 with JC Penney as a Sales Associate. After which time, she was employed by a family owned jewelry business managing the showroom. Sherry created a concierge jewelry business, catering to a private clientele while earning her Graduate Gemologist Degree from GIA (Gemological Institute of America). Sherry launched the opening of Yarnal Jewelers in 2010.
A member of the San Francisco Golden Gate Chapter of the GIA Alumni Association, Sherry continues to update her knowledge of gemstone treatments and discoveries in the gemstone and jewelry industry. Accepted as a Certified Master Appraiser of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA), Sherry faithfully attends conferences to stay current on appraisal practices and guidelines.
Ralph Yarnal
Jeweler/golfer
Ralph attended the prestigious Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts (San Francisco) where he received formal training, focusing on jewelry repair and fabrication.
Before helping to launch Yarnal Jewelers, Ralph was in the high tech industry for over 30 years, including stints in the US Navy and major software companies. His entire career has been customer service oriented. Ralph earned a BS in Information Systems, Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) certificate from GIA and a Jewelry Technician diploma in jewelry repair from Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts (San Francisco).
Angie Krowicki
Cad designer/sales associate
As a member of the Yarnal Jewelers Team, Angie Krowicki is a primarily self-taught, passionate jewelry artist who creates unique, edgy, yet feminine jewelry art. Occasionally utilizing “found” or recycled components, Angie assembles distinctive pieces with the goal of creating jewelry that a woman will discover and exclaim, “I’ve never seen anything like this — it is so unique.”
A native San Franciscan, devoted wife and mother of two young children and granddaughter of a Guatemalan jeweler and goldsmith; Angie draws inspiration for her work from nature, her life experiences and spirituality. She finds that her work flows effortlessly when her workshop is filled with music. Angie is an Accredited Jewelry Professional (GIA) and has participated in several jewelry making and gemology courses at the Crucible in Oakland. She is currently pursuing her Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA.
Claire Callister
CUSTOM JEWELRY DESIGNER/SALES ASSOCIATE
Claire comes to the Yarnal Jewelers Team with a background in studio art and illustration with experience in jewelry repair and manufacturing. Using her illustration skills, Claire takes her client’s vision and ideas to create one-of-a-kind pieces that often utilize old family heirlooms or unused jewelry that would otherwise be left unworn. She is an Accredited Jewelry Professional (GIA) and is working towards her Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA. Her passion and enthusiasm for creating jewelry is demonstrated in her work.
Jack Ozenne
Professional Goldsmith
Jack, our Professional Goldsmith has more than 30 years of experience of fabricating and repairing all precious metal jewelry. He restores jewelry back to its original condition giving you many more years of wearing experience.
Whether it’s tightening a loose prong holding your engagement diamond, replacing a broken clasp on your favorite bracelet, or completely restoring a damaged family heirloom, Jack at Yarnal Jewelers can repair it. Jack fully trained and experienced in working with all precious metals and fine gemstones.
Some of the services he provides include:
• Ring resizing
• Replacing lost or damaged stones
• Repairing links and clasps
• Upgrading stones for size, color or quality
• Resizing bracelets and reshaping cuff bracelets
Jack specializes in custom restoration of jewelry pieces. He can fabricate missing parts to make your heirloom piece as beautiful as the day it was purchased.
Patricia Atkins
Appraiser
Patricia is a proud third generation San Franciscan. While raising her family, Patricia spent sixteen years as a dealer in fine antiques. Transferring her love of antiques to jewelry and gemstones, Patricia obtained her Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in 2008 and began her appraisal career. A member of the San Francisco chapter of GIA Alumni, Patricia continues her education attending pertinent workshops and conferences nationwide.
